Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses. They assist in implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through exercises, and providing hands-on therapy to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities
• Monitor and document patient progress and report to the Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and mobility techniques
• Use therapeutic equipment and modalities as directed
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patient rehabilitation

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• State licensure or certification as required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assist with physical tasks and provide hands-on care
