Dr. Craig Humphreys grew up in Alaska and is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who went on to be fellowship trained in spine. With more than 25 years experience, Dr. Humphreys has performed over 5,000 spine surgeries during his career. In addition to being an extremely skilled surgeon, Dr. Humphreys has designed several spine implants.

Dr. John Andreshak received his spine surgery training at the world-known Mayo Clinic. Our newest provider to join the Kenai Spine team is Dr. Samual Adams. Dr. Adams is an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon with 10 years of experience. After completing medical school in his hometown of Toledo, Ohio, he moved to Massachusetts for Orthopedic training. At the conclusion of his training, he spent a year at West Virginia University to sub-specialize in spine surgery. He has a background in Robotic Spine Surgery and a keen interest in Cervical Myelopathy, which has been the focus of his research throughout his career.

As you can see, we have three world-class spine surgeons on the Kenai Peninsula who provide the highest quality spine care right here at Central Peninsula Hospital. Our Joint Commission accreditation stands as a symbol of quality and represents our commitment to meeting certain performance standards.

Like many of our clients, our providers are Alaska enthusiasts. Whether fishing the Kenai, running a sled dog team, or taking off on a moose hunt, the staff at CPH enjoys Alaska's outdoor activities just as much as the patients we serve.
