Physician - General Sugery - Per Diem

Lincoln Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital and proud member of MaineHealth, is seeking a per diem general surgeon to join our experienced and collaborative team. The successful candidate will join an established practice of 2 surgeons and 2 Advanced Practice Providers, located in beautiful Damariscotta, Maine. The General Surgeons at LincolnHealth provide comprehensive surgical care including minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures. Surgeons handle a wide range of cases annually, and candidates should be proficient in performing upper and lower GI endoscopy.

To ensure optimal coverage and flexibility, we're seeking a per diem surgeon to supplement care. This role offers a flexible work schedule and opportunity to work within a supportive environment dedicated to meeting the needs of our patients in a rural yet vibrant coastal community.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

• Education/Training:

Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialty, or equivalent.

• Licenses/Certifications:

Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine.

Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery.

Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations.
