Job Description: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Pennsylvania to provide comprehensive mental health care to patients. The ideal candidate will have experience or certification in administering injectable medications, including long-acting antipsychotics and other therapeutic injections, as part of a treatment plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Diagnose and treat a range of psychiatric conditions.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Administer injectable medications (e.g., long-acting antipsychotics, vitamin therapies).
• Monitor patient response to treatments and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and primary care providers.
• Provide education on medication and mental health management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania NP license with PMHNP certification.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Pennsylvania.
• Experience or willingness to train in administering injections.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work with injectable psychiatric medications.
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or community mental health settings.
