REGISTERED NURSE

Position Summary: Provides high quality professional nursing services in a home care setting. Reports to the HomeCare Administrator.

Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: Associate's Degree Minimum Experience: 1 year of med/surg or acute care experience in an institutional setting If new RN - 1 year previous experience as an LPN in Home Health, Med/Surge or Acute care in an institutional setting. Preferred Experience: 1 year of prior home care experience Required Certification/Registration: Current WV RN licensure Skills: Other Good oral & written communication skills Physical Demands Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients Lifts supplies/equipment Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching Working Conditions: Contact with patients under wide variety of circumstances May be exposed to patient elements Exposed to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries, and Illness ) Subject to varying and unpredictable situations Handles emergency or crisis situations Travel required
