Registered Nurse, Acute Critical Care Float

This position is responsible for providing professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process within an assigned unit; assesses, treats and care for patients demonstrating an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturation process; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Oversees the work of other professional and non-professional personnel.

Associates or Bacherlors of Nursing requires. Registered Nurse License required.

Critical Care (ICU & CVICU)

• Previous critical care experience preferred
• If hired after 1/1/2015, Critical Care course or CCRN upon hire or within 3 years (Exception: Experienced critical care nurses will be given the BKAT standardized test during orientation and those achieving a passing score will not be required to attend the Critical Care Course.)
• ACLS upon hire or within 1 year of hire.
• BLS within 3 months of hire.
• If hired after 1/1/2015,Successful completion of arrhythmia test during orientation or arrhythmia course within 1 year.
