Registered Nurse – Intensive Care - ICU - (ICU RN)
StartDate: 08/14/2023Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1135.00 - 1251.00

Demonstrates flexibility in response to unexpected changes in workload and emergency situations. Possesses complete knowledge and understanding of monitoring systems. Effectively operates and troubleshoots all monitoring systems.
Assesses all body systems appropriately. Performs a thorough head-to-toe assessment on assigned patients every shift, identifying body systems at risk related to critical illness. Documents appropriately.
Demonstrates expertise in management of the critically ill patient. Demonstrates effective critical thinking strategies while managing the critically ill patient.
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of specialized equipment used in critical care. Attends skills validation sessions and demonstrates competency and understanding of all required steps for appropriate operation of high risk, low frequency equipment and procedures, including completion of all unit specific required education
Keeps up to date with communication in the unit i.e. reads emails, posted memos, reads staff meeting minutes. Responds consistently to requested read-receipt items sent electronically.
Effectively manages 1:1 patient assignment: including accurate documentation following established guidelines and troubleshooting.
Collaborates with peers to plan and deliver best practice care to patients.

Required Qualifications
2 years of RN experience
ACLS
BLS
PA or compact license
Computerized charting experience
COVID Vaccine

Preferred Qualifications
TRAVEL EXPERIENCE
