Facility will ACCEPT LOCALS for this position. ALL RTO requests must be in the packet at the time of submission. Anything sent after, will not be approved. Position Description: L&D - Every other weekend, no on-call. Must have at least 2 years LD exp. Fac beds 104, unit beds 30. EMR: Epic. Attire: navy scrubs, no extreme, acrylic, or gel nails. Travelers will float and float first. No self-scheduling. Every other weekend, holidays as needed. NO BLOCK SCHEDULING. Required Upon Submission: BLS & ACLS. Must have active MD/Compact license in packet at time of submission, no temp licenses allowed. COVID vaccine required. Medical Declination accepted. Must have signed and authorized documentation from Physician in packet or submission will be dropped. UMMS does not accept religious COVID declinations. Manager to interview and offer.

N Who manages ventilators: Respiratory Unit Specific Procedures and Protocols: (For example: Drips; Infusions; Phlebotomy; Starting IVs; EKGs; Transports; Weaning; Nebulizer to Inhaler; Starting IVs, performing venipuncture, Performing EKGs; Discontinuing sheaths) Staff start all IV’s and perform venipuncture on adults and newborns. Perform EKG’s. Assist with Epidural placement, attend deliveries vaginal and surgical, newborn care – circumcisions, assist with NRP, UVC placement. Breastfeeding support. Newborn care instructions for new families.


Required Qualifications
MD RN Perm Lic or Compact state lic
BLS, ACLS
COVID Vaccination or Medical Declination
LD SCL and reference within a year
RTO Upon Submission
Lic and all certs in file at the time of submission
