Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical - Travel - (MS RN)

Pay Rate: $2032.50 - $2657.89
C6 Surgical Short Stay
Number of Beds: 18 beds; semi-private rooms and private rooms
C6 is a 23-hour unit where various surgeries are seen which include but are not limited to: ENT, thoracic, neurosurgery, orthopedics, GYN, GYN oncology, urology, and general surgery
Post-surgical setting caring for patients that have undergone ENT, thoracic, neurosurgery, orthopedics, GYN, GYN oncology, urology, and general surgery. These are patients that are here for 23 hours and then discharged home or to a facility as needed.
Special skills-Cortrak management, IV insertion, phlebotomy, Vocera use, tele, traction, ostomy care
Procedures performed on unit: Assist with Chest tube insertion; Central Lines, Wound Vac changes, NG, Cortrak, catheter, indwelling catheters
Required Qualifications
Experience: Registered Nurse, MS
Licenses: RN NY
Certifications: BLS.
