Peri-op 10 OR Suites
Typical nurse to patient ratio for this unit, size of unit, acuity on 1-4 scale, and average length of stay:
2.5 staff per pt. in OR Suite. The OR Department consists of a 10 suite Operating Room on the second floor and a 48 bed, 26 Pre-op Bed, and 22 Post Anesthesia Care Bed Unit on the second floor next to the OR. The beds in the Pre-op and Post Anesthesia Care Unit are not included in the licensed bed capacity of the hospital. Both areas are open 24 hours, seven days a week. Elective surgery is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5:30 pm; urgent/emergency cases are performed during all other hours.
Orthopedic, General, GYN, Plastic, Urology, Eye, Head and Neck and Dental.
No areas to float. Within Peri-op.

Required Qualifications
2 years Experience
Experience in ortho, vascular, gyn, general surgery, retinal
Circulate
Call reqirement twice a month - 1 weeknight every two weeks and 1 weekend day every two weeks.


Preferred Qualifications
Health Connect
Scrubbing experience preferred
