Position Description:

The Clinical Research Nurse assists in the conduct of clinical trials in a variety of therapeutic areas. The Research Nurse provides specialized nursing care that ensures exceptional, ethical, safe conduct of research projects to yield high-quality data. The Research Nurse provides clinical trial support ensuring patients are offered appropriate clinical trials conducted under Good Clinical Practice standards. Clinical Research Nurses consent research participants, assess, monitor, evaluate, and document patient compliance related to study participation. They provide leadership to other members of the clinical team by articulating expected standards of care as directed by the clinical trial protocol. The Research Nurse participates in process improvement activities and demonstrates professionalism and a commitment to improving the work environment through participation in meetings, timely and effective communication, and an embracement of cultural diversity.

What's Required:

• Current Registered Nurse license, in good standing with State of Michigan Board of Nursing required.
• 3 years recent clinical experience required.
• Clinical research experience in industry and/or NIH sponsored trials highly preferred.
