Respiratory Therapist - Colorado

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Location: Colorado

Type of Facility: Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 12 hour shifts for 3 days per week, or 10 hour shifts for 4 days per week

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide respiratory therapy treatments including nebulizers, vest therapy, metaneb, and BiPAP/CPAP for OSA

- Set up and manage optiflow (high flow) systems

- Deliver pediatric treatments every 2-4 hours, including vest therapy

- Manage ventilators in critical care areas

- Provide respiratory support in the NICU, including bubble CPAP and high flow

- Assist with bronchoscopy washouts and diagnostic procedures

- Demonstrate competency in ICU and ED settings

- Work with various equipment including Servo U and Servo I ventilators, and parapac vents for transport

- Collaborate with a team of 3-4 Respiratory Therapists per shift

Requirements:

- Current Colorado State License

- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications

- Minimum 2 years of experience

- NICU experience 

- ICU and ED competency
