Southview Acres Health Care Center is recruiting an RN for the role of Building Charge Nurse.
Hours/Shift:
Full-Time Overnight (NOC)
Part-Time PM
Part time- Every Other Weekend
The responsibilities of theRN Building Charge Nurse include but are not limited to:
Leading and supervising nursing staff including CNAs and LPNs
Delegating direct resident care in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines
Coordinating and facilitating the delivery of resident care from healthcare professionals
Conducting patient assessments, reviewing medical records, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
Contributing to the professional development of the nursing staff by providing ongoing education, training, and mentoring.
Communicating and collaborating with other healthcare professionals in the facility
Qualifications & Skills:
A valid and active RN license from the state of Minnesota
An associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing
Management and/or supervisory experience
Must have a solid clinical knowledge foundation and nursing practice skills.
Must be able to effectively communicate with patients, their families, other healthcare professionals, and the nursing team
Must have proper organizational and critical thinking skills
Must be familiar with healthcare facility policies, procedures, and protocols is important for a charge nurse.
Must be able to uphold high ethical standards, maintain patient confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism in their interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
