RN Clinical Educator

Job Description:

Our RN Clinical Educators experience a unique opportunity to employ their nursing expertise to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology. In this role, you will be responsible for providing consultation and education to healthcare professionals through case coverage for a vascular occlusion device.

The medical device being represented and educated on is typically used in Interventional Radiology and operating room settings. The role is responsible for end-user education only. This opportunity is great way to make an impact through healthcare professional education to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and professional expertise to RN, physician and other healthcare staff in support of end-user education needs in the healthcare setting during procedures.
  • Assess customer needs and assist with resolving issues stemming from lack of medical device knowledge or understanding of the vascular occlusion device.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on the occluder procedure, and on the impact the technology makes to the recovery process and ongoing patient care.
  • Follow-up with key accounts and customers to assess unmet education and clinical needs as it relates to successful, smooth, and effective medical device implementation.
  • Provide customer feedback to corporate teams to improve new and existing medical devices.
  • Lead and support change management efforts to facilitate the adoption of new occluder devices, ensuring seamless implementation.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in occluder technology and best practices.



Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
  • Associate degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
  • Active RN license required.
  • Experience in interventional radiology or related fields, with specific knowledge of occluder devices required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementation and change management within a clinical setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience working alongside medical device representatives during surgical or interventional radiology procedures as they complete case coverage is highly preferred.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
  • Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated.

The potential base pay range for this role is $35.00-$40.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
