Senior ETL Developer

Experience:

5-7 years of experience in Database Design, Development and Query Optimization using SQL Server for Web Applications

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server Database:

o Proficiency in SQL Server 2017, ETL/ SSIS and SSAS

o Familiarity with Databricks and Azure Analysis Services

• Implement search functionalities using Elastic Search and optimize search performance.

• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices.

• Query optimization using SQL profiler.

• Creating indexes, views, tables, stored procedures, cursors and CTE.

• Creating SSIS packages and configurations

• Deployment of ETL jobs

• Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.

• Work with version control systems, such as GIT & TFS, for source code management.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in developing database for web applications using backend technologies like SQL Server 2017, ETL/ SSIS and SSAS

• Proficiency in implementing search functionalities using Elastic Search.

• Experience in implementing SOLID Principles.

• Familiarity with code deployment using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline.

• Familiarity with Databricks and Azure Analysis Services

Good to have skills:

• Familiarity with C#, .NET Core and Web API (Rest API)

• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
