Social Worker - Nebraska

Job Title: Social Worker

Job Location: Nebraska

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Flexible, 24-30 hours per week (consistent once set)

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide telehealth appointments for patients aged 4 to geriatric

- Work with primary care teams to treat and manage patients with emotional and health problems

- Offer direct clinical services including intake, programmatic education, individual therapy, marital therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and emergency services

- Evaluate patients for potential self-harm or harm to others on an emergency basis

- Complete intake assessments, formulate provisional diagnoses, and provide interpretive summaries

- Educate patients, families, and staff on care techniques, prevention, and treatment

- Conduct substance abuse screening, education, and brief interventions

- Refer patients to mental health or substance abuse specialists as needed

- Participate in Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance efforts

- Participate in Clinical Behavioral Health on-call coverage schedule

Requirements:

- Nebraska Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

- Ability to obtain Licensed Mental Health Practitioner license in Nebraska

- Experience level dependent on candidate qualifications and interview

- Proficiency in NextGen EMR system
