WHAT YOU WILL DO

This position is under the supervision of the Director of Therapy Relief at Hope, the Speech & Language Pathologist provides and speech/language therapy in a clinical setting with both pediatric and adult patients.

• Assess individuals' communication skills and implement speech and language treatment based on established goals, in individual or group settings.
• Serve, communicate, and consult as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain detailed records and compile written progress reports and treatment plans as needed.
• Evaluate need and type of augmentative communication devices and provide guidance and training to parents/guardians, teachers, and/or caretakers on the use of needed devices.
• Participate in ongoing treatment meetings, as well as staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Master's degree from approved school of speech-language pathology.
• Tennessee license in speech-language pathology.
