Speech-Language Pathologist

Roots Autism Solutions is seeking a speech-language pathologist to join our team!

Roots Autism Solutions / Therapeutic Academy is a close knit team that is comprised of people with a passion for supporting a diverse group of learners, each bringing a unique skill set and interest to the table! We are looking for a speech-language pathologist with a collaborative mindset, interested in and with experience in working with kids with autism. Our speech pathologist will provide assessments and speech services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities ages 2-7 years old in our therapeutic preschool / center.

*Candidate Responsibilities:*

* Collaborates with a dynamic team of BCBA’s, ABA therapists, occupational therapists, teachers / schools, and other professionals in the community
* Evaluates and qualifies children for speech services
* Develops and evaluates the effectiveness of treatment and therapy plans
* Provides group and individual therapy services
* Works closely with a multi-disciplinary team
* Works with clients with a variety of needs from nonverbal or limited verbal output to communicating at the conversational level.

*Requirements:*

* Licensed speech-language pathologist
* Masters degree required
* Open to Clinical Fellows
* At least one year experience as an SLP
* Able to provide therapy between the hours of 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
* Experience and/or interest in the following areas is preferred: expressive, receptive, and social-pragmatic language, executive functioning, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and feeding.
* Applicants should be flexible in their treatment style and thrive on creating individualized plans for various levels and types of deficits and open to learning more about a comprehensive and unique caseload
