Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapist (LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC) to join our team. As a Therapist, you will provide counseling services to individuals and groups, focusing on various mental health issues and aging-related concerns. Your role will involve conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions. The ideal candidate will have experience in social work, possess strong communication skills, and be knowledgeable about medical documentation and HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide counseling services to individuals and groups, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques
- Facilitate group therapy sessions to address specific mental health concerns
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide case management services, including referrals to community resources
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of therapy
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
- Experience in social work or clinical counseling related field
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with child and adolescent issues counseling and related interventions
- Competence in individual and group counseling techniques
- Strong case management skills
