Travel RN OR Job in Cincinnati, OH

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Nights)
Schedule: 40 hours per week (5x8 or 4x10)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Travel Operating Room (OR) RN to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent Level 1 Trauma experience and a strong background in circulating emergency craniotomies and trauma procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional care in the OR with proficiency in circulating emergency craniotomies and trauma procedures.
Set up rooms for the next day's cases when on off shifts, including familiarization with equipment, beds, trays, supplies, and reading preference cards.
Adapt to various shifts and the different needs of each shift, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
Ensure high standards of care and patient safety throughout all shifts.

Experience Required:

Minimum of 2 years of recent Level 1 Trauma experience with a proficient knowledge/experience level.
Experience in circulating emergency craniotomies and trauma procedures is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to set up rooms for the next days cases, with a thorough understanding of equipment, beds, trays, and supplies.
Ability to adapt to different shifts and their unique demands.

Certifications:

BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
RN State License (valid for Ohio)

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting.
Proven proficiency in emergency craniotomies and trauma procedures.
Strong adaptability to various shifts and on-the-job requirements.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
