X-Ray Technologist

*Job Description:*

Prima CARE is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced X-Ray Technologist who would be responsible for obtaining x-ray images of patients via radiographic imaging.

· Follow physician’s orders regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging.

· Clearly explain instructions and direct patients during the exam, while addressing needs of the individual patients.

· Correctly position the patient, operating imaging equipment safely and appropriately.

· Practice radiation protocol safety according to ALARA principles.

· Follow proper imaging techniques and procedures.

· Keep accurate patients records

· Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating future needs and communicating with appropriate personnel.

· Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

*Minimum Requirements and Skills:*

· Must have an associate degree

· Valid MA Radiologic Technologist license

· Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

· Must have a current BLS for healthcare provider

· Must have CPR or CPR/AED certification
